Enquiries and proposals

This website describes our publishing support. An initial enquiry and proposal are free and do not oblige you to purchase a service. Paid work begins only under an agreed written proposal or service agreement.

Your project agreement

Your proposal sets out the scope, deliverables, fees, payment stages, revisions, responsibilities and expected milestones. Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. Changes to scope or timing should be agreed in writing.

Your manuscript and rights

You retain ownership of the original manuscript and materials you provide. You must have the rights or permissions needed for those materials. Rights to commissioned deliverables and any third-party licences are set out in your project agreement.

Reviews and approvals

You will be asked to review work at agreed stages. Timely feedback helps the project move forward. Additional revisions or changes beyond the agreed scope may affect fees and schedules; these should be confirmed before additional work starts.

Publishing outcomes

Book sales, rankings, reviews and retailer acceptance depend on factors outside our control and are not guaranteed. Distribution availability does not mean a book will be stocked by a particular shop. Retailer fees, printing costs and platform requirements may apply.

Cancellations and consumer rights

Contact us to discuss cancellation or a concern about the services. Your agreement explains project-specific cancellation arrangements. Nothing in these terms or a project agreement excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Information about consumer guarantees is available from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Website examples

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
